I've enjoyed using flash for several years now, and I consider it a specialty of mine. ALthough it has been used to create some annoying intros and banners, I think motion graphics can be used to communicate more effectively, and add interest and excitement to a site. Perhaps the greatest thing about flash is that it ensures that a design will appear the same to all users that have the flash player. According to Macromedia, this is 98% of web-users! Nevertheless I try to ensure that content is accessible to users without Flash, and also to the search engines.

With Macromedia Flash MX 2004, it is possible to develop sophisticated client-side applications in an Object-oriented programming environment. It is also possible to integrate with databases, XML, and web services to create Rich Internet Applications.

Above I find flash to be fun. I enjoy creating engaging, interactive experiences. I hope you enjoy browsing through some of the movies I have made with Flash, as much as I have enjoyed making them.
